How to continue a text with AI

Paste what you have started and the tool picks it up at the exact point you stopped, writing in your voice rather than its own.

Getting started

  1. 1Paste the textA draft, a chapter, a letter you began. To fill a gap in the middle, put a [[...]] marker there and pick the "Fill the gap" mode.
  2. 2Say what comes nextIn the settings, the first field "What comes next": "on to price and delivery", "the hero has to find the letter". The most important field — without it the model drifts.
  3. 3Analyse the stylePress "Analyse the style": AI describes the person, tone, sentence length and how the reader is addressed. Correct any line — "no, be informal".
  4. 4Pick mode, length and styleThree pills right in the composer. Everything else — text type, audience, plan, constraints — sits behind the settings icon.
  5. 5Press "Continue the text"Accept, reject or rewrite each paragraph, and use the buttons below to ask for one more, finish the text or add a conclusion.

Tool settings

What comes next

One or two lines about what the continuation should be about. The most important field here: without it AI picks the direction itself, and often not the one you meant.

Mode

"Continue" writes on from the last line, "Finish" takes the text to its end, "Fill the gap" works with a [[...]] marker in the middle and joins what it writes to both sides.

Length

One paragraph, three paragraphs, an exact word count, or "until it's done" — with an upper limit so the answer cannot grow without end.

Style

"As in the source" by default: AI holds your own voice. You can also set the voice explicitly — neutral, business, friendly, expert, conversational or academic.

Style passport

A separate quick pass over the text: narrative person and tense, tone, sentence length, vocabulary, how the reader is addressed, dialogue, headings, emoji. Every line can be rewritten before generating.

How to end

The target ending in one line: "end with a call to book", "leave the ending open". The continuation is steered towards exactly that.

Text type

Article, story, letter, post, documentation or dialogue — this decides what "what comes next" means: plot or argument.

Audience

General, specialists, beginners or children — changes how much is explained and which words are used.

Start from

Finish the unfinished sentence, start a new paragraph, or open a new section.

Introduce nothing new

Bans new characters and places in fiction, and new facts, numbers and names in business copy. On by default.

Follow a plan

A list of points, one per line — AI covers them in order.

Keywords

Required words for SEO copy: AI works them into the continuation naturally.

Constraints

What the text must not contain: "no competitors", "no emoji", "no questions to the reader".

Freedom

Strictly logical, balanced or with twists — how boldly AI takes the continuation somewhere new.

The style passport is the most useful button here. A style spelled out explicitly is held far better than one guessed from the text: a single corrected line ("be informal", "no emoji") changes the whole result.
Write with the model rather than after it: accept one paragraph, press "One more paragraph", and the next piece is built on what you kept. The text stays yours instead of turning into a wall of generated prose.
